This whole leaf tea is grown in Igembe District, Meru County, Kenya, 1600m-1800m above sea level. These estates grow 650 acres of tea plants, with 150 of them being dedicated to purple tea production. The tippy leaves produce a floral aroma, and a light bodied tea with notes of pear and walnut.
Ingredients: Kenyan Purple Tea
Prep: 2.5g tea (2 level tsp) per 12oz filtered water, boiled and cooled to 175F. Brew 3-4 mins.
